Saving in /flash/

'Roight. Seems that /flash/ is having a bit of a problem with the new coding or change there of. When attemtping to save a Flash (most notably anything without a Thumbnail) you are saving the file as a link, not a .swf (or otherwise), and thus not being able to view the file from your harddrive. The only way to currently save a file is to copy it from your Cache files for your browser (Temporary Files, etc), and this is causing a little bit of havoc amongst those who barely know the cache's existance.

I'd like to ask if this meant to occur or if it's an error/oversight/etc that may have occured after the crash. Well, if our wonderful Admins aren't aware of this issue yet it may as well be noted here so they may hopefully fix it, as a lot of us would love to see. And to much thanks for doing so, of course :) Eheh. Anyways, hope this illuminates the bothersome issue in /flash/. Thanks for reading and any comments/questions can (obviously) be noted below.
*buggers off*
P.s. Thank you for restoring Fchan and having it available, you great Admins. Pardon the lack of names as I am barely awake and in need of coffee to start my day. Toodles.

if you alt/option-click a swf file link in firefox, it saves the flash file. trying the same in camino 0.8.4 gets you a html file with a link. so, it's a question of which browser you're using.
