I recall all the problems with /mem back when it was around, the arguments of what was considered a memory and what was too recent. I've noticed, as I'm sure all of you have, people use /ah and sometimes /a to post their /mem and recent /mem material. Did you ever consider to make the page /fam meaning Famous? I know if can be mistaken for family or something, so a similar name would be acceptible too. Lemme know what you all think. =3

please do a little test: go into each image board and count how many famous characters you can see on the first page. then imagine all these images being posted to one board. :)

We still have not resolved how this is meaningfully different from the situation that exists now.

I again state: "I am not entertaining the idea of adding another section at this time. There are many other issues that are more pressing."

look, guys. none of the big 3 want to deal with adding or removing another board right now. Leave this issue alone for about 1-3 months, then suggest it again.

Why did it have to be childhood memories in the first place? Why could it not just be a section on fan art of commercial charaters all together? It would certainly cut down on the multiple Sonic threads on every board.

>>1 >>2 >>6 The /mem/ board wasn't a dumping ground for famous characters, it was a place to post characters that were children from a time when we were children, or at least that's how I read the rules. I asked on a number of these discussion threads and kept getting the same kinds of replies, namely, that if the character was an adult, it was fine on /m/ (unless it was dealing with /a/ or /ah/ material).

It should be a board featuring commercial characters, rather than "memories". my 2 cents worth anyway.

We gave you one chance to look at underage toons without having to look at scat, gore, etc. You blew it. About what happens with /ah/: I do not care. /ah/ contains all the stuff that i'd rather see gone completely and i only keep it around because it'as easier than trying to stop you people post that stuff in other boards.
