In most US states, it is illegal to commit the act, but not to view it. In some states, and countries such as the Netherlands, laws even allow actual zoophilic acts.
That reminds me, I wonder if they ever actually passed a law here in Washington State that would make bestiality illegal. no kidding, oregon has anti bestality laws but the farmers and dog breeders punched so many holes in the legislation that one almost has to be videotaped or confess to be prosecuted so far as I am aware its legalish to look at it- but that would be dancing closely with laws regarding "obscenity" and bluh those laws are usually so vaufe its nearly painfull.
