My apologies to anyone who was actually trying to use the stream today. It was down for about thirty minutes due to a power issue. It is now back up.

I'd like to get some input from those who have already used it. Out of the music you've heard, what do you like and what could you do without? There's a lot of random music on the playlist as I really don't know what the majority of listeners are interested in. Everything from 70s to present, pop, rock, techno, metal, industrial, goth, soundtracks to games and movies, etc.

If there's a specific artist or group you like and want to hear, just say so. I may have it as my music collection is fairly massive. Same goes if you hear something specific that you dislike. I can't shape the stream into something everyone will like unless I get a decent amount of feedback on it.

I've always considered Tiny Tim's: "Living in the Sunlight, Loving in the Moonlight" to be FChan's theme song.  It just cuts through all the weirdness... with another kind of weirdness.

this stream is pretty nifty - love the mix - esp. love how you are throwing in some videogame tunes in there, so far, it kicks ass.

some requests/ideas:
mantronix - (any song)
fear factory - descent or martyr
meat beat manifesto - (any song)
astral projections - visions of nasca (think that's what it's called) or nexus
front line assembly - transmitter or civilization
stalin - moose and squirrel

keep it up!

Holy mother of christ, I just accessed it and was assaulted with Aqua - Doctor Jones. That should be illegal!

Er, in other words - do not want :p

So what is the thought on Aqua? Who likes them and who doesn't?

As for the requests in >>4, I can check, but don't think I have those. Not familiar with them.

>>9 Aqua are awesome. Check out the German (I think) band "Daze" for more music with the same kind of we-don't-take-ourselves-very-seriously tone.

What program do you have to download to use it?

You can connect to the stream with either iTunes or Winamp. Windows Media Player may also work, but I'm not completely sure.

You may be able to get Windows Media Player to work, but by itself it will not. (Tested WMP10)

Winamp : http://www.winamp.com/player/
VLC    : http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
iTunes : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

There's 3 decent programs which will work, there's countless more if you want more choices :)

The proportions need sorting methinks, it seemed very heavy on the techno-rave type stuff (or what I like to call "gamer's taste" music). Needs evening out. If Imay suggest; needs some Black Sabbath, and a bit of NWOBHM, like Iron Maiden. And nothing is complete without AC/DC. Plus the odd Prodigy song... Then sprinkle with the dance and techno offerings, to taste. Stir in the Metallica (Just the early stuff, nothing post black album) and season with Kasabian. Bake on Gas Mark 5 in an oven of Faithless... Musical cake, delightful to the ears :P

Okay, I'm making some more changes to the playlist. I've made a couple already, but I would to know how many people would actually like more music on there from video games. I haven't put too much in there from it yet, only a little bit. But I can add quite a bit more if it's heavily enjoyed.

Two words. OC remixes. 'Nuff said. :P And oh, how's about a little indy stuffs (or what I think is indy...) Like Stabbing Westward, and stuff like Chevelle and Papa Roach. The kind of tunage that when driving a car, you tend to speed. ;P

Re: Stabbing Westward, Papa Roach, Daft Punk

Already in the list.

OC Remixes: I have a LOT of these. The problem is that if I add them all, it will make up about a third of the playlist. So I don't want to just dump them all in there unless a few more people who actually listen on a regular basis decide to speak up and second the notion.

Also, what is more liked? Hard rock or dance?
