IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat, basically a chat program with many servers, each with their own channels and special commands. Most servers cater to specific things... Gamesurge is mostly counterstrike, Quakenet is mostly Quake, just for some example.

Well, depends on your OS. If you're on Windows, you probably want mIRC (www.mirc.com ), if you're on a Mac or Linux... then I'm not sure. :D You'll find us in the channel #fchan, on irc.distrust.us As for other ways to contact us, there's always email. Just click on our pictures on the front page to get a mailto: link.

Okie, if you're using mIRC, go onto the settings, then "Servers" (near the top, under "Connect"), click Add Server, put whatever you want in description, "irc.distrust.us" in IRC Server, put whatever in Group (I just put 'Distrust' for both Description and Group), then hit Add. Oh yeah, and don't forget to put your name in the Nickname box, on Connect. Thennnn make sure it's selected in the lists on Servers, hit Connect To Server, and you should be able to join. Then just type "/join #fchan", and you're set. ;)
