I have a Jay Naylor picture with the text "Permission to Distribute Electronicly without Alteration"

Could I have a bit of clarfication on that rule? Would I be okay to post that, or would it still be DNP, regardless of that Text?

That would be a no-go for two main reasons:

1. The DNP list is important. We allow images that say "do not distribute" if the artist isn't on the list. We do this because we've received the okay from some artists that do this, so we never know the main reason it's there. Mostly it's for legal reasons in regard to prints and not for posting on the internet. In the efforts of being fair, the same should apply here, only in the backward sense.

2. We have no way of knowing if the artist put that on the image or someone else did it so they can post it on Fchan. The artist may also have it there only so individuals may share on a one-on-one basis.

Bottom line: If the artist has all of their work on the DNP list, then no art of theirs may be posted unless they do. No exceptions.
