Discussion threads list is too hard to read

Does anyone else find the Discussion thread list impossible to read? The grid and text are the same blinding white, and there is no cell padding to separate them, so it all blends together. I cannot skim the page - I have to carefully read each line one at a time.

Also, the text is a bit too small, at least in Firefox. Internet Exploiter has a tendency to make everything bigger than it is supposed to be, but I can't stand using it.

At the very least, the table cells desperately need to have some padding added to them, and the table itself should be a different color, perhaps something like #001CDB, or maybe even something darker. Anything less than bright white would be a substantial improvement.

Also, removing the underlines from the text links would make them easier to read. I think everybody knows that you need to click on the thread title to read it.

Perhaps you should have your eyesight checked, friend. I don't have any problem at all with the text.

You know, you can make text bigger with pretty much any web browser, including Firefox.

The text size was a minor issue. The main problem is the lack of cell padding, and the lack of contrast between the grid and the text inside it.

Uh... Tune your monitor, then. Sounds like you have the contract set at far too high.

Look, he said the text was too small. Either his eyes are messed up, or he had it set too small in Firefox. I was not being rude.

However I would think if the problem wasn't with the user, other people would have the same problem.

Maybe they do?

Well, I must admit, it's certainly more pleasant to read now that it's been edited slightly.

Well I hardly think there was reason to be so rude in your answer, we were giving helpful advice.

"Have your eyesight checked" isn't rude, but helpful, now?

Must've missed that memo.

I've been using Stylish to give it a different skin for a year now anyway. Blues and light greens and stuff.

Related: I mentioned this to the mods/admins in the IRC channel a while back, but when you got to "List all Threads" they fail to be numbered any more. They're all 1. From a programmer sense, this looks like an error with using 1 instead of i as a loop variable. Shouldn't be too hard to fix ;)

Well, we could just let people go through life with messed up eyes.

You want us to do that?

Damn, that's the rudest thing I've ever heard of.

it'd still be nice to have the underlines taken out
