Wait, I have the same problem. I save it with "Save Target As..", then when I try to open it, I can't. I'll open it using IE, but it'll just never load. It'll just stay as a blank white screen. Any help?

If you use IE (7) try tools - internet options - (browsing history) settings - view files. Bear in mind that if you have watched, listened or otherwise viewed anything completely in your browser it has been downloaded to this folder and can be simply copied out. It's a good idea to clear the folder then refresh the page with the flash file to save wading through hundreds of files. You can then use a web browser or a dedicated flash player to view the file. I find macromedia's own flash player 6 the best as it allows full screen view and is very simple. Unfortunately I have never been able to download it on its own, it came with macromedia flash mx.

"Save Target as..." works for me :/ anyway, so sites like HTH and TU is actually a bunch of sections projected into one place and when u try to save it u actually get one section and not the rest?

If your trying to get embedded movies on to your hard drive , forget getting firefox mods (ex:greasemonkey) and .swf downloaders and get something like screen recorder gold. There are probably other screen capture programs, but of the myriad of scree capture programs I downloaded and tested, this one is the only one that works correctly.

If you are using Firefox, go to "Tools"-"Page Info", then click on the "Media" tab, then in the address list provided, find the .swf file that is embedded in the page, then click "Save As" and thats it!
