Fchan: Radio! is now back online and available for listening. Please see the link at the top of /dis, on the Fchan sidebar, or at the bottom of this post in order to listen. You will most likely need a music player like iTunes, Winamp, or Windows Media Player in order to listen to the stream.

The current playlist consists of techno/electronica/ambient types of (mostly) instrumental music by artists such as Infected Mushroom, The Crystal Method, Joe Satriani, Robert Miles, Juno Reactor, Röyksopp, and Daft Punk.

Other playlists are available and/or will be made, such as Hardcore, Dance, Smooth, Anime, Movies, Games, OC Remix, and a master playlist with a chosen combination of all of these.

If there are any requests, please let me know. Also, if there's a specific kind of playlist you'd be most interested in hearing, let me know.

Bwah..

In order to rearrange my workstation, I am going to have to take the stream offline for a small amount of time. I will post again when it's back up.

Sorry to the person who is listening right now. >.<

That's almost exactly what's on my playlist (in addition to other stuff).  The only suggestion I might have is to stream it at 96 or maybe even 128K instead of 64K like it's going right now.  I listened to it for a bit last night and at 64K some stuff gets pretty muddled.

Cool in any case.

I did originally have it streaming higher, but Xeno wasn't happy with the bandwidth it took up. Or some other reason, I don't remember. Plus it does take away from my personal upload capacity.

Are other people having a problem with this?

If you don't already have the Chemical Brothers on the electronic playlist, I consider it a good suggestion.

Maybe make an Indie playlist. Or just keep it on the master list. idunno.

And here, I thought people hated the 80s.

Well, if not too many listeners object, I'll look into putting together an 80s playlist. Warning: May contain some early 90s.

Testing the hard rock playlist. It does, in fact, contain some Rammstein.

What's Smooth? Is it smooth jazz? Because that was invented by the devil. And I find this "OC Remix" highly questionable as well.

I request Interpol/anything Mike Patton(Specifically Mr. Bungle)/XTC

I most likely will not be listening much since music is too common. I am up to my phalanx in it. Internet radio is everywhere. But put this stuff on for the betterment of the people.

And what kind of hardcore? The old hardcore I am familiar with? Or the new hardcore that I am totally unaware of?
