I have a question before I go and post what I intend to. Many artists have the idea that hyenas are herms, or that they have both sexes, which is untrue. They have only a vagina, which is surrounded by an elongated clitorus. And I have a video that details such. I am hosting the torrent (inside a RAR) on my website, and seeding the torrent myself. It will only work for Azureus users, since it uses decentralized tracking. May I have permission to post that here?

No. Sorry. Many reasons why that would be a bad idea. Please refrain from doing. Even such a conversation can devolve into many flames, very fast. It has happened before. However, I will allow the conversation to exist if/until it becomes an issue.

Many folks ion the fandom (at least the smarter ones) know that (spotted) hyena's aren't really herms, but still find it interesting/fun to portray them as such. In other words, it's a matter of preference (in some cases) rather than ignorance (tho' I'm sure there's a lot of that) that makes people draw them as herms, even knowing it's not the reality. In the same way I like to think that a matriarchal species (spotted hyenas) would have a lot of better-than-the-alternative homosexuality, cause really, if your a male that doesn't want to have a female dom your ass, why wouldn't you go find a male to get it on with instead? It's not reality, or even necessarily likely (arguable, of course, but what isn't?) but it makes for a good explanation for a fantasy involving lot's of hot hyena studs doming other species'.

It's not an attempt to get people to change what they draw, only to get them to stop saying incorrect things. They're not herms, and people keep drawing them as herms and justifying it as 'just like real life' when it's very far from it. Also, Raven: That answer was very confusing. You said no, then yes. Is it yes, or no?

And if they keep drawing them as herms the ignorance will spread, they just have to say that is fantasy. But I find it fun

I actually got to use that quote, once. Playing my own RPG, I was playing a mole alchemist. I scored very high on the roll for incendiary properties when making the item. But alchemy skill doesn't help your throwing skill any. 5d20 in fire damage.
