I'm working on a sexual but somewhat dark comic.  The description of the story is below. I'm also looking for help, and the work descriptions and rewards is listed at the bottom.

The comic Tails the Fox story.  In the OTHER plane, 16 year old Tairusu loses 8 year old Soniku in a fight with Robotoniku.  8 years later the World has gone to hell.  Tairusu is the only survivor.  A Shadowy Figure tells him that Soniku lives and drags the non-believer into the YOUKNOW plane.  He finds Soniku (who goes by the name Sonic in the YOUKNOW plane) and Tails.

Soniku recognizes the Shadowy Figure as the great artist (from a previous game I made), an artist person who's absurd wisdom and limited strength makes him a good-naturedly awkward character to be around.  The artist describes how the OTHER and YOUKNOW plane are tied together. He also explains the basics of the Artist Throb.  A secret power hidden power in anybody, but in different body parts.

The Artist's Artist Throb power is to see the Big Picture.  Which leads him to go to multiple video game universes in search of important secondary characters who's artist throb can be used to solve problems in one of both planes and multiple worlds between them.  The story acts alot like a game in various ways, for example: The Artist travels in small handpicked teams that can switched around at his will.  Hoping to use Tails, Midna, Falco, among other characters from various series.

Ratings vary from /Toon/ to /AH/
Multiple comics, each 20 pages, black and white.  Manga style back of the book to the front reading flow.

ITS AN ADULT PROJECT, SO ONLY ADULTS CAN HELP, DUH!  YOU MUST BE 18 OR OLDER.  YOU ALSO MUST BE PREPARED TO WORK WITH THE CURIOUS /TOON/ LEVEL RATINGS, AND FUCKED UP /AH/ LEVEL RATINGS.(The only thing i can guarantee, is that sex won't be mixed with violence.  It can look freaky as hell though)

I'm looking for:
A couple creative teamwork oriented fan-fic writers with a nerd level knowledge of video game characters.  I'll need help with plot and character depth, nostalgic references, and of course writing the story.  The idea is that I'll make part of it, give it to you, you write some, then pass it back.  I'll be quality and vision control.

A couple great pencil artists who can draw OTHER plane character concept sketches, background plans, among other things. A few good inkers or a couple exceptional digital inkers who'll stay on the whole project.  It might be a graphic novel's length.  I'm thinking... twelve 20 page comics maybe.

A Translator who knows Fluent English and Japanese... and has a flair for keeping the original meaning and feeling.  At the beginning, I'll let you read what we got as we make it, so you can get a good feel for the direction and the concepts invovled, but when a comic finally ready to be inked, I'll have you translate the particular comic.

The first comic, I hope to complete in two months from when the script of the first comic is done.  Then the idea is to whittle down the time until the last comic, which I hope we can get done in a couple week's time after the script is made.

Rewards:
-Working with Steve Farfan
-Getting a spot at the end of each of the comics to write what you think and or a drawing to go with it
-Being able to throw around ideas
-Getting your names in the credits
-Having links to your websites
-Share the free online comic with your adult buddies

Important, if you aren't a person who can fill these roles, but know others who are perfect for the part, please suggest them here.  Give good reasons and links to their galleries in this discussion.

If you are a person who would fit one of these roles. E-mail me here stevefarfan@gmail.com

Mr. Farfan, humility is a virtue.

Hey guys, I'm here to get help.  This is what real humility is all about.  The fact that I like myself, and feel proud of my past work, doesn't mean I think I'm better than others.  There are a lot of great story tellers, artists, and translators.  If the idea is interesting enough, and you're one of them, lets make something awesome together.

If you don't have the skills, you must certainly have furry artist heroes.  I have mine.  We're all too shy (or it could just be me) to speak to them.  If you guys can list the ones who draw the best Sonic the Hedgehog, Legend of Zelda, and Starfox fanart... I'll do my best to bite my shyness and contact them about the project.

A name, what you like about them, and a gallery link would be helpful.

Maybe I'm nearsighted or something, but I keep reading and re-reading that "Rewards" list and don't see money listed anywhere as a possible reward. PERHAPS I MISSED IT.

No no.  I think that the reward of working with this guy is supposed to be worth more than cash.  I hardly agree since most of the good artist actually get paid for doing any kind of custom commissions or comics.  Sorry Steve, but I think if you want any really good adult artists to actually commit to this there will have to be monetary compensation.

OH! I get it now.

I've successfully made several free video games

Sonic the Pervert (I did all art and programming)
Sonic the Pervert 2 (I did all gameplay art, programming, and most of the male voice acting)
Yeowi the Pervert: Had some help from various music artists.
Attemped to make 6 more games (drew all the art for 2, but they never got released due to me being tired of programming, and unable to find a programmer who could do it)

Free stuff done for other people:
I've helped write the story for a ButterCupSaiyan Sonic the Hedgehog dating game.
I drew an image for Furry Bomb #4.

Commercial bets I probably won't make money on, so most likely free:
I've inked two Risers comics.
I'm painterly coloring 2 undisclosed comics.  (the amount of work is equal to inking 6 comics)

I am a professional with years of experience and nearly all of it has been to create free full-scale games and art for all of you to enjoy.  I don't ask more of people than what I would do.   I've helped people for free, and so have I been helped back before. If nobody wants to help here, that's fine, I respect that.  I'm already going to pencil the entire project, but if I have to ink it, I will.  If I have to Translate it to Japanese myself, I will.  It's just gonna take a year or so to finish it, rather than 4-6 months then.

Btw, when I do work on personal commercial works, don't worry, I'll pay the workers a good page-rate.

Working on this comic.  Currently at the script stage, I'm drawing up the adult version of Tails also.

Also, I have tried to make 6 games between 2004-2007.  The projects get big, so it's hard to do it as one person.  Sometimes I get lucky, and I get some help with music and art.  I can do programming, but it gives me headaches sometimes.

In fact, this is one reason why I'm doing it as a comic, that way even if I don't get help along the way, at least it can get done eventually.  I plan to release the comic monthly, after the script for the first two comics are finished.  My motivation for the project is really high. (about as high as when I made sonic the pervert 2)

>>12
I do a lot of things.  I tend to work on 3 different projects at once.  Regular paid comic bookwork (sometimes adult), planning my big series, and working on a project involving characters I grew up enjoying.

>>13
My stories ideas since 2004 tend to be somewhat other-wordly.  The characters should have a "they MIGHT ACTUALLY be real" feel to them, because a lot of their motivation is affected by their past, present, and goals for the future.  So while I try to force their hand with certain situations, their own sense of direction sometimes leads them to figure out different strategies than what I predict.
