*sigh* How in the heck do I start a topic in a forum, (like /ah for example), when i tried I ended up posting in a thread rather than making my own. Can anyone help me out? I feel really stupid ><

No need to feel stupid! The problem is you were inside a thread already when you posted a message more than likely, which means it went into the thread. If you click on one of the board names over in the image board list so you go to the board, where you're not viewing any particular thread yet, and then post something, you'll end up creating a new thread.

It's all about where you are when you post the message that determines what ends up happening, so as long as you are just in the board's main directory and not in a thread yet, you'll be fine.

I find if I hang out with common folks with little or no higher education, I feel smarter merely by comparison.

You could maybe try hanging out with the mentally challenged, to the same effect?  ;)

(I'm joking - based on the topic title, it's like you're asking us to help you 'feel smart'...)

Not knowing is not stupidity. Stupidity is not trying to learn! You show intelligence by asking, as it shows you have the desire to increase your knowledge.

Knowledge and intelligence are two intrinsically linked things, but they are not the same.

A wise man does not need to ask questions, but a wiser man knows when to ask them.

Thanks for the support and kind words, I normally would get "LOL NUB u [insert method here] wtf hoe u not kno that".

I feel better now. Thank god for the "delete post" button too, because if that wasn't there, there'd be quite the random post in a thread >.>

Thanks again!

Fortunately, no one under the legal age is allowed here... thus screening out most that talk in ... uhh... 1337 (a.k.a. idiot) speak.
