I'm seriously not trying to stir anything up here, I was just wondering about something...

In an image thread, Foxstar said, "...Because this is a image board. There are dozens and dozens of various places around the internet to discuss sexual acts. This is not one of them, here you post pictures, make /req/'s or if you really want to, can go to /dis/ and talk about them. Not within the threads themselves and this is unlikely to change. More so when a number of people have stated that they don't want to read that crap."

So...if we're not supposed to discuss the images or sexual acts on the image boards, isn't there some way for the mods to just turn off text in the image boards? Based on Foxstar's comment, it seems like the most efficient thing to do. Besides, I feel like that might...you know...make drama disappearish?

I don't know, I'm not a mod, and don't claim to know anything about the way these things work. I guess I'm just a little confused about what's expected here, but then I'm not too bright! That's why I never post anything, haha, too scared.   xP

Allowing the drama to be not visible and making it disappear are two different things.  Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it's not there.  Besides, if a thread got deleted for drama that somebody didn't see they might start complaining about threads getting deleted for no reason, simply because they didn't see anything going on.
