I am at a bit of a loss at the moment, for the past month firefox has refused to access FCHAN at all.

All cookies are allowed and there are a few errors that show up in the FireFox error console:

Warning: The stylesheet http://fchan.me/fchan.css was loaded as CSS even though its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css".
Source File: http://fchan.me/
Line: 0

Warning: Selector expected.  Ruleset ignored due to bad selector.

Warning: Found unclosed string ''s associates responsible for material found within.<br>'.  Found unclosed string ''t flood or spam the boards.</b></li>'.  Found unclosed string ''t discuss legal questions on the image boards.</b></li>'.  Found unclosed string ''t cause drama.</b></li>'.  Found unclosed string ''t fuck with.'.  Unexpected end of file while searching for closing } of invalid rule set.

It seems that your php is malformed to and is returning a CSS file to the browser as an HTML.

The creators of Firefox think they are so high and mighty, that they make their software warn about or flatly reject any HTML or CSS code that is "beneath" their standards.

No, not their standards. They just follow the standards created by WC3 and formally set by the RFC standards- which is something other browser creators (cough-Microsoft-cough) and web page creators should learn to do.

Besides, those were error warnings, which means it looks very much like the generated code is doing something wrong. You don't get pissy because your spellchecker flagged 'kat' as wrong when you meant to type 'cat', do you?

erm, what's happening there is that something is blocking cookies AND referrers. the server is configured to send a disclaimer when BOTH the cookie and the referrer are missing. that's what's being sent as .css file there.

so either you have some whack-shit add-ons in your firefox, or you have a retardedly paranoid firewall.

Yep as Xeno put it it was a funky extension, the only thing was I had uninstalled it at least 2 months ago and it didn't clean itself out properly.

Ah well thanks for the quick reply btw.

Out of curiosity, why?

so people who get hotlinks to the site cannot claim to not have seen the disclaimer.
