When I started looking for my fix of furry pr0n today, I noticed that now every post in /f/, /m/, /s/, /toon/, /a/, /ah/, /c/ and /crit/ (but not /h/ or /b/) has "Ban" and "Del: Img/Post" links by it to the right of the report button. I'm about 99% certain that these are /meant/ to be visible to everyone and will only function for admins, but frankly I'm not about to click one and find out. Just thought you should know - if it's not intentional, or worse if I'm the only one seeing it, it could be a sign of bad things afoot... :-(

Ditto here - I haven't tried pressing any of the buttons thus far, but I'm quite certain that someone will at some point. As with previous poster, I haven't made any attempts to gain such access, so I'm somewhat curious as to why the options have appeared, even if they may not actually function.

"delete" just gave me "incorrect password for deletion". haven't tried "ban".

ok, "ban" just says "management password incorrect".

Same here. It has to be a mistake. Why should the buttons show up if you're not supposed to and, as said above, can't use them?

It's like those self-service checkouts showing up in stores. These are self-service Fchan management options. If you've been trolling you can ban yourself and if you post /a in /h or drama you can delete your post.
