What do they think?

Hi, I've recently discovered myself as a furry, and even more recently discovered myself to be bi-curious, and am currently facing all the problems that go with such a realization. I was wondering, what are girl's opinions on bi-curious guys?

Second question:
Why is m/m so commonly drawn by female artists?

Trolls, the door is over there. --->

Don't tell them where the door is, they can tell their friends about it.  And about your problem, I guess it would really depend on the girl you're talking about.  And I think that the m/m drawn by men is FAR greater than that drawn by women..

Oh, you discovered you're furry an bi-curious. I wasn't expecting that XD

I agree with 2. There are far more men drawing gay furry stuff, why do you assume there are more women drawing gay stuff?

The real question you should ask yourself at this point is do you find REAL men attractive or just furry males? The aesthetics of furry and even yaoi(if you are into that) commonly give men traits they would not otherwise have thus turning an otherwise straight man on. If you aren't worried(or don't care) about what people think you can be turned on by just about anything. Hell, there are straight men that actually prefer trannies because they are more 'classically feminine' than real women are these days.

What i'm trying to get at is...if something turns you on it turns you on, look for what it actually is that does this. Don't make the mistake of hooking up with a guy in the real world only to realize their lack of furry or feminine traits makes you want to gag.

Since we are sharing...I consider myself straight because i'm attracted to feminine qualities though if a guy was able to have those same qualities i'd obviously be attracted to them as well. At the same time if they had some super deep voice and a female body...that'd turn me off. I'm tempted to use the term pansexual but everyone I know who uses that term is so elitist that it put a sour taste in my mouth.

Can't give a particularly informed answer your first question (though from my experience, most girls seem to have no issues with it, but then again most of the girls I know are bi or lesbian) but the second one is, I think, for the same reason straight men like lesbian porn: 2 is greater than 1, and often enough (such as in my case) people just plain don't dig straight porn that much even if they're straight or bi.

>>4 has it RIGHT on the money.  Explore that feeling more before you call it.  Are you attracted to MEN, or men with effeminate features?  Because god knows, furry porn is definitely not a tool to use.

I actually had a... romantic... event with a male, and didn't really enjoy it. I stayed up half the night wondering "W..T..F..?" however I have been attracted to RL photos of furry artists I've seen. Muscles turn me right off, but I'm more submissive. I find myself attracted to RL girls, especially whilst in physical contact. However, during my...encounter... it felt great for a while, but halfway through the OMGWTF hit.

""I consider myself straight because i'm attracted to feminine qualities though if a guy was able to have those same qualities i'd obviously be attracted to them as well.""
Not to be snippy, but I think that would make you a 'bisexual with type consistency' rather than a 'heterosexual'. About 1/3 or more bisexuals feel like that.

I would say im straight as well. I guess I could be bi if I actually met and was attracted to a real girly boi (Bridget and Eliot for example) but the desired level of fem goes down with furs. Adam Wan does some nice male art. But I just like his style.

It's that narrow view of sexuality that has so many people confused when they have feelings of attraction toward the same sex. They want to instantly deny these feelings and usually end up showing heightened aggression toward gay/bi people in an effort to look even more straight and manly.

I won't say you are wrong in your opinion(because you are entitled to it) but DONT label me something I don't consider myself. I call myself straight because i'm attracted to only feminine qualities. It's very doubtful i'd meet a guy who looks like a girl, sounds like a girl and more or less acts like a girl but just in case I do I keep myself open to that possibility. This does not make me bisexual because i'm not at all attracted to masculine qualities. Calling myself bisexual over a possibility that is probably less than .00001% is retarded.

I'm wondering why you think that I'm trying to personally insult you.

Labels mean nothing. A seven-year-old that can read well and talk well for his age will be labeled "gifted" while a seven-year-old who still can't tie his shoes will be labeled "special". At age eighteen, the latter child might already have a college degree while the first child C's himself through High School. Look back at history: God only knows what public shools would have done to Thomas Edison.

Whether you're talking about the IQ bell curve (gifted/special), the race bell curve (black/white), the sexuality bell curve (gay/striaght), they're all just broad statistical generalizations. In your life and in my life, they mean nothing.

""I call myself straight because i'm attracted to only feminine qualities.""
And people of either gender can and do have those qualities. It's doubtful that you'll meet a very petite and attractive guy, yes, but that's not becuase they don't exist: it's because our homophobic society mocks them horribly.

lost souls: firstly an A+ for having the balls to have a name on here. Well done. You and I, whilst mine is fairly anonymous, is a name nevertheless, are kinsmen. Etc.

Secondly, you're right.

Thirdly, "A seven-year-old that can read well and talk well for his age will be labeled "gifted"..." <- lol, I am so the first child. *sigh* more because of laziness though, not a curve.

Nah, having balls whould be:
Linking to your LJ and posting on the /m/ board, while you've previously made really homophobic comments on your LJ (comparing gays to padeophiles, etc).

Ooops, double post. Anyways, I had thought of using my LJ name here. But I didn't see the point: I'm so new to this 'furry' thing that I haven't even been drawn yet; I have no distinction.

You're welcome to have my LJ. In fact, I encourage it.
(This is Someguy, I found a name I like, hopefully not used.)

Contact me, please. I'll mail it to you. Note that this isn't my *real* email, but my one I freely hand out and laugh at the number of unread messages. Spam, every one of them. zedpheonix [at] hotmail [dot] com

Make the subject something I'll recognize and I'll reply with my LJ.

Look forward to talking to you!

You already seem to be an expert on circle-jerking; you'll fit right in the "community".
