Clarification needed: Cub art on /toon/?

1 Report	at 22 Apr 2008: 23:04 From what I heard, the mods have banned cub art on fchan. However, there seems to be a ton of it on /toon/. No, I'm not talking about characters that just "look young." I mean characters like Miles "Tails" Prower, who according to an official bio I read was 8 years old. Also, Kit Cludkicker, who is a pre-teen... Does this mean cub art is OK in /toon/?

Why cant you people look up and READ the rules instead of creating discussion threads? Kay... Cub PORN is banhammered. Clean cub is not. Heres what they have to say about F#$%king Tails Admin's Note: A cartoon's "age" is rarely taken into account. Most cartoon characters do not have an official age and many artists take creative liberties when drawing fanart. Because of this, it is simply too confusing to police the board for the supposed age of every character shown. Only those images deemed very offensive will be removed for this reason (i.e. we receive a LOT of complaints). +Modz--Feel free to correct me if I am mistaken or if things have changed again+

All I really want is clarification of the new rules on cub porn and how that now applies to known underage cartoon characters. That paragraph that you've quoted is from before the change that banned pedophilic drawings from other parts of fchan, and in light should be updated, or at least a comment that the ruling still stands. A purely innocent request.

The reason they did away with cubs is to appeal to a U.S. law which makes any pixel porn of an underage non-existent entity equivalent to CP of a living breathing child. Tails, Klonoa, Tiny Toons and the others are exhempt because, as they always repeat, cannonical age is irrelevant, and Toon artist styles tend to be age ambiguous. So the mods get to apply the new law, and all the 15 year olds on Fchan get to keep their Sonic the Hedgehog pronz. Everybody is happy, WHEEEEEEEEE! ^^

Cub ban is simply because rednecks own the internet. Where to find rednecks? The US. This site's server? The US. If it's not black people, if it's not gay people, it's people who like the idea of underage characters. Rednecks don't need to have a rule that makes sense, they have guns; in this case, banhammers. I was going to donate to this site, but then this BS happens and starts a shitstorm...
