Making a furry!

1 Report	Futafan357 at 4 Jul 2008: 14:10 Well hello there again. as ive said before, im very new to this fandom/comunity/fetish so forgive me if i make a fool of myself :3. Over the past few months ive come across and come to love furry porn, mostly futa and gay male. through most of this time, i see a lot of people who have their own characters with pictures and cool back stories and all that stuff, and now, i find myself wanting my own character ><. I have never been really creative with these sort of things..... creative writing class always pwned me X_X...., anyway, ive sorta put together a list of the things i really like seeing and was hoping that yall could give me a hand with making a furry ^^; ill understand if this isnt a reasonable request, so leme know if it is. Thanks in advance for any help!!

4 Report	at 4 Jul 2008: 17:41 First, get your favourite animals (plural) and mix and match them to taste, a wolf's tail, a duck bill platypus's face, a lemming's ears, whatever Next get your favourite colour and make that it's fur colour, get your second favourite colour and make that it's markings colour, add markings as you see fit. Finally, give it some angel wings (if they're nice) or demon wings (if they're naughty), a range of magical powers that you think are pretty awesome, and add 1 or more sets of genetalia from whatever genders you prefer. And there you have it, 90% of "Fursona"'s found out there in the fandom. Protip: Ignore the above suggestions, I beg you! - Spare DeviantART from yet another purple winged herm foxdracotaur

7 Report	at 5 Jul 2008: 20:28 Well, making a character that's a furry is just like making any other character, and you just add on the fact that 'oh, she's a hyena anthro', or what-have-you. There's some pretty good guides on designing a character at the Fantasy Art Resource Project (just google FARP), for both writing and drawing. http://www.elfwood.com/farp/thewriting/mfocharacter/mfocharacter.html There's one in particular.
