Don't really need to ask a question regarding the site. all seems to work fine for me and its not hard to figure out, i don't think. how's this... My mental arithmatic SUCKS, any easy way to do the 12 x table from 12 x 20 up without using a calculator?. i know it's off-topic. but i wanted to reply to >>13 =)

In generic multiplication, 12x20=240 sub : 12x10=120 sub : 12x10=120 sum : 120+120=240 Or, if that is too much, try break 12x20 to 10x10+10x10 + 2x10+2x10 sub(1) : 10x10=100 sub(1) : 10x10=100 sub(1) : 02x10=020 sub(1) : 02x10=020 then sub(2) : 100+100=200 sub(2) : 020+020=040 then sum : 200+040=240 This technique works for any multiplication, but is very use full for the 12 table because at the base, any number multiplied by 12 is the same as that number times ten added to that number times two. And, any one can do their tens and twos tables, correct?
