Irony in hatred

I was roaming the internet yesterday while taking a break from my studies of hatred (dont ask) and I came across something I found delightfully ironic.  A website dedicated to bashing all furry art in any medium as disqusting worthless filth that no one cares about, was begging for money because there werent enough advertisers on the web site for the owner to pay the bills.  Personally I like to hear when the doors of any place dedicated to pointless hatred are being shut for good and would be delighted to hear any other moments of such occurence you good people should know of.

Oh for fuck sake, that site bashes EVERYONE

You can't fault a site that has a page bashing 'unique' individuals like Chris Hanssen, can you?

They also bash Weeaboos and animetards, Madonna, Jade Goody and a lot of other morons

Hmmmm, I'm off to ED to make a donation just to make you BAWWWWWW OP

I fail to see the actual "irony" involved.

Bashing furries and asking for donations/being shut down seem totally unrelated. It's not being shut down because of the furry bashing, it's not asking for donations FROM furries.

No no, it's not irony. It's your smug satisfaction at the events that unfold. You're unhappy with the bashing, and then the site gets shut down. You're more thinking of karma, in a way.

That's more like hypocrisy than irony, really.  There's nothing unexpected about some guy on the internet being nasty toward somebody who had previously been nasty toward him.

Um, isn't it also ironic that you are bashing people for donating to ED-when furries did the exact same thing when FA needed money?

I wasnt talking about anyone inparticular, apparently my comment was misunderstood.  I have seen several sites on the internet dedicated to tearing down others what I was reffering to as ironic was one which I happened to read that said that a site (I think it was Ozzy and Millie I dont know for certain) was barely holding on and would soon die, and yet the owner of the site proclaiming this was also saying that they themselves need money because they cannot afford to continue running the site and as far as I am aware the site mentioned as barely holding on does not have any such financial problems.  This observation has nothing to do with being a furry, I dont take it seriously at all it is a matter of aesthetic taste and has very little effect on my life.

You take it seriously enough that you are bothered enough by people being mean to furries on the internet to write up a paragraph about it.

And you take it seriously enough to post it in a public forum while standing on your soapbox while pretending it's not there.
