Does anybody know what happened to Ribnose?

1 Report	at 14 Oct 2009: 00:14 So, what's the story? Anybody know? This guy by the username of Ribnose on furaffinity just decided to up and nuke all his smut and hasn't touched his account since. Which is really too bad because he was actually pretty good. There were some journal entries leading up to this but with little explanation. He just one day after months of contributing to the site decided he didn't like furries? wtf? His old general journals and artwork characterize him as a pretty cool guy, albeit a pot-head and a pyro with some questionable fetishes, but down to earth. What happened? did he anhero?

They converted to some uberscary ultra Jesus KKKristian cult and furry smut is now a sin. 5. Trolling. 6. Attention whoring. 7. Plans to become an hero.

Sure, you won't get any NEW art but at least you will have the old stuff archived. It's not that hard. Downthemall + linky = a few minutes to save entire galleries But yeah, other than that it's mostly drama, attention whoring and jolly swastika of control that makes most artists pull down galleries. Also, sometimes it's job related and they don't want furry coming back to bite them in the ass.
12 Report	at 15 Oct 2009: 19:08 >>4 like pot suddenly makes you have a crisis of conscience :P it's not like yo get too stoned and suddenly decide to tear down your life's work... sure it's not cool, but I'd have it taken out of the list of possible causes; AD seems to smoke like a champ and still makes some great art. I just gave it up lately but I hate anti-drug crap by people who don't know anything about it. Porbably started a new serious job, or just decided he didn't want his name all over online smut. See good reasons above ^^

14 Report	ribnose at 15 Jan 2010: 12:25 hi fchan. one of my buddies linked me to this thread, i had no idea it existed til just now. first thanks for digging my stuff. i was on the fence about having it be on fchan for a while but really this is where it belongs and i'm cool with it. second the real thing about leaving FA was none of the above strangely enough, i was just at a crossroads in my real life and was tired of managing a public furry identity, something i had never done before getting on FA really. my art's real personal to me and although nobody ever did anything to hurt my feelings over it, i just got a little tired of being outside my comfort zone in terms of the scale on which i was sharing my porn with the internet. at the same time, i was realizing that i'm one of those people who doesn't have much of a desire to interact with a fandom (of anything) except one-on-one with other friends who're in the same boat. THE BORING-ASS TL;DR TRUTH AT LAST! :P all the people i have talked to are very understanding about it though, so thanks in advance for that. i'm way humbled that people like my art. i just wanted to pop in to offer that info so people would know what was up, and that i hadn't jumped off a roof or decided i hated furries or anything.
