I'm not really a furry, not in the fursuit kind of way anyway. Maybe a "fuzzy" ..... anyway I'm interested in making a tail and ears (wolf or fox to be particular). The problem I've had inthe past is that normal polyester fluff all sinks down after a bit of use.
I could imagine some kind of puffy foam padding, but it might be too stiff when rolled up in a tail shape and not heavy enough to flex itself. Not to mention not as soft and huggable as polyester fluff. I want it to be durable like I can run around and lay on it and stuff and end up flat or deformed.
How about foam padding wrapped around a cylindrical silicon core for heft? XD
So what is best to use? If it's multiple materials layered, how do you construct it? I think they might be hard to get through in the top of a sewn up tail. And where do you get the supplies including fabric/fur? Online would be best I think ~
