So recently, I recieved a Kindle for my birthday, I've been browsing through their catalog and all I've found so far is "The Blood Jaguar", which I just finished reading (I highly recommend the first 2/3 of it :P ), so now I'm back to browsing, and I'd kinda like to know if there are any furry books out there (Anthro or non-anthro animals as /main/ characters) that you guys/ladies could maybe recommend, and maybe a reason why you recommend? :o Thanks :3 (Btw I just realized that fchan has actual message message boards today :o )

I got halfway through the blood jaguar and HATED IT. I've read thousands of scifi and fantasy books and less than 1% have anything resembling a furry. The only real furry books are those written by furries themselves and 99.9% of those are obviously porn. Furries are not mainstream enough to be main characters in a REAL book. I actually wrote a non-porn "furry book" myself in the mid-90s and it was rejected everywhere as being something the mainstream would not buy, so I self-published and sold maybe 10 copies in the last 15 years. It's just a big waste of time, in my opinion. You'd have more luck sticking to video games, as furries are very common there.

Kyell Gold work. My two favorites are Out of Position and Isolation Play (the sequel). Before these books, the only book I've ever read was the Eragon series and when I was forced to read books in school. Now, I've read Out of Position 5 times. I'm on the last 30-70 pages of Waterways and I'm enjoying it, and I've heard a lot of great things about Volle and Shadow of the Father. (All are Kyell Gold books) Kyell Gold has won 5-8 Ursa Major awards (same award given to movies like Shrek, Bolt, and How to Train Your Dragon). Kyell's work can be bought as E-books and his FA is www.furaffinity.net/kyell
