Art critique and advice; beginner artists are welcome to post here; includes an oekaki. (NO FLAMES)

Artists, read before posting!

Before you post your art to ask for critique, please read these tutorials. They explain the basic principles of drawing and figure drawing. Most posts where these basics are missing will never get a response, as people are quite frankly sick and bored of explaining over and over that you would have to pretty much learn how to draw first, before you could improve.

And for those of you who want it a bit easier, we also have the whole thing as one neat rar with all three books in pdf form.

If you think you know a good basic tutorial that would fit in here, feel free to contact me under Xenofur in IRC and I will add the link.

Hey guys. I'm not traditionally a furry artist, and I'm not used to drawing women either (huge fucking faggot.) but I was recently commissioned by a close friend for a generic slinky dragonwolf bitch and in the spirit of the thing I figured this would be the best place to come for a pragmatic opinion, even though most of your are developmentally disabled knobs. And I say that with all the affection I can muster as a shallow, jaded dirtbag homosexual.

Also, I added a gimpy pseudohand so idiots can tell her tail isn't fucking suctioncupped to her spine. A decently-drawn limb will be inserted later.

She needs just a little wider hip area or taller buttcheeks. She will still be slinky-esque, it's just that her hips are too thin currently and she has manbutt.

Women's cheeks are often either exaggerated length or widthwise, whereas men's are usually more round or even all about. Google Frank Frazetta and take a couple minutes to see how he draws backs and butts on his women. He had variation so don't just base it off one picture.
