For the sake of clarity, I'm fixing your grammatical and spelling errors while quoting you, because it's borderline unreadable in some cases. Chill the hell out so you don't spew shit all over the place, seriously.
>What the hell is your problem?
Good question. Also, it's not really my problem, as you have obviously overreacted to what I said, because I guarantee you it's nothing to get wholly upset over.
>I'm just trying to design an art piece in the correct manner.
You have a lot of work to do, then, considering how inconsistent the lines are. Some of them seem appropriate for a sketching phase, some do not.
>This is not the finished piece.
No shit.
>Those circles you see created with the "circle tool," as you put it, are there to show the proportion of the image.
To show proportion? You're just slinging around terms without understanding them. Look, using them as part of a sketch might be understandable, but I find it ridiculous, considering that you're likely to trace them to some extent in your final product and have Rouge with some disgustingly spherical boobs and a disgustingly spherical ass. Gravity exists, fat falls a certain way, and there are ways to exaggerate it in an appealing manner without copping out and using circles.
>You're an artist, are you not? Can't you understand the level of frustration involved to improve on this?
Certainly. Not a fantastic artist, and I'm nowhere near as experienced as I feel I should be, but I am apparently a halfway decent artist.
And sure, working on a piece can be frustrating. But if you're that annoyed with it, or hearing stuff you may not want to hear on it? you're a bit too frustrated. Relax.
>Did you even bother to examine other aspects of this artwork that might actually be good?
Of course. But I didn't feel like spending time and giving a critique on it yet. You know how far patience will get you? You should have sommat delishus patience.
>I have looked at other posts you've made and you have some really useful advice that you have given to other artists. So why cant you help me out?
I can, and probably would have if you hadn't overreacted and gone all "whats your deal anyway!?" on me unnecessarily. Good luck on actually getting advice on this board now.
>Why are you so judgmental? You almost sound ignorant!
Lol, so much assuming.
>And so what if I capitalize my post? What business is it of yours?
I dunno, I frequent here. I'm just telling you, putting "Rouge" in all caps isn't going to get more people flocking to this thread. You might be aware of it now, but people in here are not going to suck on your junk because you draw some overrated, shitty Sonic character.
>At least I have the guts to showcase my artwork as well as my mistakes so that they can be improved on!
I've done this multiple times actually, and recently asked quite a few people what I need to work on. So you know what I did? I took all of the advice I got, didn't argue with it (except the whole "YOU NEED TO DO COMICS" thing which... nah), wrote it down, made a list, and am working to improve on those things. I don't post in here because aside from anon, who I might know otherwise anyway, I can ask all of the other posters and get responses immediately.
>Jeez by the looks of things, this is going to be a fairly complex task to achieve the results I'm aiming for if i keep getting responses like this.
No, the problem is how you react to something not worth reacting to. You are not going to improve if you blow up at someone who didn't even step over a line and insult you. Do you think anyone would want to give you critique if they know you're only going to resort to bitching, assuming, and insult-slinging?
>What a waste of time. Why even bother responding if you don't approve of this artwork?
No one approves of any work that is submitted to /crit/. That's why it's here.
Also, I don't particularly care for the pornographic posts, and I still give people critique on those. Yours is no different. Your attitude, however, is. I see no reason to attempt helping you now.
