Art critique and advice; beginner artists are welcome to post here; includes an oekaki. (NO FLAMES)
Artists, read before posting!
Before you post your art to ask for critique, please read these tutorials. They explain the basic principles of drawing and figure drawing. Most posts where these basics are missing will never get a response, as people are quite frankly sick and bored of explaining over and over that you would have to pretty much learn how to draw first, before you could improve.
i like it! i loved her ears, so cute! here's my advice, the hair: needs practice, movement, it needs to be flowy! that's all i'll say... there's plenty of tutorials in deviantart, try to look at them if you want!
Raise the clothes at the sleeves; make sure that one side of the chin mirrors the other; round the hands(disclaimer that I only know what it should start to resemble*no ref); define the characters contours from shapes that angle away from the viewer like the abs; same with the crotch area, don't forget the leg has a but, so that thigh gap ,unfortunately does not receive negative space; The anterior muscles of the leg should be round, or this will make it harder to see the angle of the leg; the jeans pocket on their right side should not really show up; shorten their left eye, it doesn't seem to match the length of the one on their right. That's as best I can suggest. This is just what I would do though. Good luck!
