Art critique and advice; beginner artists are welcome to post here; includes an oekaki. (NO FLAMES)

Artists, read before posting!

Before you post your art to ask for critique, please read these tutorials. They explain the basic principles of drawing and figure drawing. Most posts where these basics are missing will never get a response, as people are quite frankly sick and bored of explaining over and over that you would have to pretty much learn how to draw first, before you could improve.

These were brought to my attention by Aeresque#Artist. Courtesy of Scribd: Drawing the Human head, Drawing Dynamic Hands, Dynamic Figure Drawing
And for those of you who want it a bit easier, we also have the whole thing as one neat rar with all three books in pdf form.

NEW! These were brought to my attention by MajorTom in #fchan. Courtesy of Andrew Loomis: Creative Illustration, Drawing the Head and Hands, Eye Of The Painter, Figure drawing for all it's worth, Fun with a Pencil, Successful Drawing, Drawing Dynamic Hands.

If you think you know a good basic tutorial that would fit in here, feel free to contact me under Xenofur in IRC and I will add the link.

I made a thread here a long while back, and I don't know whether to bump that or to make a new thread.

So, seeing as it has been at least a year since the last time I made a thread in here, I think it might be more appropriate to start a new thread.

tips and advice needed. Will post more later. Image attached to this post is of my fursona/avatar/whatever. His name is Ahmad "Sego". He is... well, I kind of declared all my furries as belonging to one species that developed after humans got altered by a virus...

but because that's silly let's just say he's a lion-bear-devil-man. This was drawn with a mouse. Because I was desperate to draw something and I had no scanner.

Funny little symbol is my signature. I call it a hexface.

No furries in this drawing... but crit is crit and there are already sufficient furries, and there shall be more. I need tips on how to use those mixer brushes in Photoshop. I tried experimenting with them and this is what resulted.

I make up for the lack of furries in the last thing with this. It's an attempt at making pixelart/sprites. I need tips relating to drawing the characters and things like trees and whatnot.

please disregard the grass, sky and hexface.
