Also, do note that I am implying a hermaphrodite has the same number of chromosomes as its 'parent' specie. Whether different anthros have different chromosomes is up to another debate. Having hermaphrodites with a different 2n number would be highly selected against. It helps explain why mules do not occur in great numbers naturally and hermaphrodites would are not prevalent in our world. If we wish to consider the existence and natural evolution of hermaphrodites, it is much easier to consider their evolutionary path mimicking their parent specie.
