Psychological harm isn't key, it's just one of many components. Here's one. I can feed pork sausage to pigs, and it doesn't mess with their heads. Does that mean I'm right to do it, or does that make me a twisted fuck who gets off on messing with animals that don't get it? I'd go with the latter, but I guess the pig isn't traumatized or anything, so that makes me a good person for doing it.
