Question... Why does the "fittingness" of images to certain boards need to be patrolled so stricly at times? I fully support the fact that when something is clearly not belonging there, that it be removed, like a scat image in /h/ or such, but sometimes things are removed that probably don't need removed. For example, sometimes there might be a themed thread in /m/, and someone posts an image that follows the theme, has nothing wrong with it, and it fits right in. However, someone complains about it or a mod deletes it because it might "appear underaged" slightly or something, or the way it was drawn makes something look abornmal. Then, the image is either ignored never to be seen again, or it gets dumped into /ah/ where every other image goes that isn't clearly fully adult, plane background, normal pose, with completely "normal" body figure. I'm not pushing on anyone or saying the mods are doing a poor job. I'm just saying people are becomming overly sensative because they want every board to have one really narrowly themed set of images with nothing else, and that makes things less enjoyable.

Well, maybe people complain about images where characters "appear underaged" because most self respecting people find children depicted in a sexual manner absolutely disgusting and horribly offensive. It's a small price to pay so that normal people don't have to look at that crap.

>>2 I'm not talking about where you have children in the images, I'm talking about where the characters look like they're 17 or 18 or 19 and people start splitting hairs.

If they looked 18 or 19 there wouldn't be a problem. It's the fact that they look 17 or younger that's a big problem.

Better safe than sorry would be the philosophy I think. ^_^

Lol, right, i get off on seeing Deleted gifs, i revel in the feeling i get when deleting them, i anticipate the next moment a poster posts an image that doesn't fit.... Or you're making things up and i'm just trying to run an orderly site...

the guy who made this thread makes good points though. if it fits into the theme of the thread for the most part, but happens to contain a little of something that doesnt, it should be deleted and have to be put in a completely different board. and that weird little rule you have about letting 3 pictures slide doesnt make any god damn sense. i know it must be hard running a site like this and trying to make everyone happy. but people will always complain no matter what. fuck making everyone happy, focus on making things run smoothly. and by smoothly i dont mean doing whatever you can to stop people from complaining.

>>9 I wish that people would think like that when they look at the furry fandom in general. Fuck making every minority happy, focus on making the whole thing a bit easier to tolerate and comprehend. That way there would be a whole lot less drama.

>>9 There's a problem with this. Things will never run smoothly as long as someone out there is not happy. So by your own logic, it's impossible. We're doing the best we can, here. We're quite well aware that some people will not be happy, but we try to make some allowances when we can. People beg for answers, and when we give them out, they don't like them. Though, if you want things to run just a little bit smoother, I suggest you keep in mind how it always starts at home. And also remember that since we can't make everyone happy, you may very end up being the one who isn't.

Why do Raven and Xeno even bother is beyond me. Why Nadia bothered shows a love for the fandom that most people don't have. Why Freehaven bothered is still beyond me. Hosting, running and modding a free porn site..must surely be the most thankless job in the world next to serving in the Army.

Why do they have image segregation? Oh, probably to keep the thread on track instead of letting it derail from its original intentions and purpose. For example, a thread in male devoted to, oh, I don't know, rats. Common sense dictates that only rats should be posted. But someone has some great pictures featuring rats with, oh, I don't know, foxes. Suddenly, comments reign of 'wow, that fox is hot, more plx', and then images are posted with just foxes in them. The thread purpose (showcasing rats) is compromised. THAT is why they are strict regarding it. If they allow that persons' image which fits, but doesn't, in with the theme, then they have to allow someone elses, and so on, until the 'norm' is the things that fit but don't, and the images which fit entirely are a rarity. I imagine that's why they allow 3 images...it's just enough to showcase the really good stuff, while preventing all of the aforemention. Or, you know, keep complaining because it's just -so- hard to have to create a new thread or click a link to another board and browse through -more- porn because what you want to see didn't quite fit in with another threads' theme.
