ok, while running the miracle of a program that is visipics(sorts through your archive of yiff and locates all doubles of pictures that you have in the archives), I came across maybe 50-100 pics that have been renamed with something in them that all I can guess is someone's name. Just curious if anyone knows whats the story behind this. Is this the name of some furry elite league of yiffy artists or something. cus there were dozens of pictures from other artists ranging from Terrie smith to bernal all renamed with the name "kopie von" at the beggining. anyone know if there is a reason for this? or did someone just get bored and decide to put their name in the titles.

ah, ok, hmmm... tis odd, the program creater is Ozone, who im pretty sure is from America... oh well... no matter
thanks folks, that little oddity has been bothering me a bit for a while. Kept wondering. knew it was either a name or it had some sort of specific meaning or purpose for being there. Just dont speak German, so it meant absolutely nothing to me, sounded like a name.
oh, and the program doesnt rename files, so that wasnt why they were renamed. Im guessing from what you said that the people who previously made the archives that I downloaded used some sort of program that renamed some of them for god knows what reason. OH well, at least thats cleared up.
Oh, and visipics was made by ozone griffox(Im almost certain of it). so if you want to google around and try to find a copy, id highly reccomend it. its a very useful program, and no, it doesnt rename any files, just browses everything under a certain directory that you choose and then brings them up for your veiwing. The only disadvantage to using the program is that you got to check each set of picture copies one at a time and figure out which copy is the best and which ones suck and need to be deleted. Its faster than checking through them the old fashioned way. and very efficient at checking too. It can locate different versions of the same picture with modifications and size differences included. Ive found 3 editions of one picture, one had its copyright information removed and was even renamed to something else so Id have a hard time telling it apart from the other copies, the other two were slightly better looking copies anyways not to mention one of them was full size.
