Forcing our sick kinks down your throat

"Do you HAVE to force your sick kink down OUR throats here?"

Somebody actually said that, over there on the Ray Jones Gadget threads.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever read on fchan, and that says a lot. YES, genius. Yes, he does. Because you're here to have YOUR sick kink forced down your throat. You love it. You love your stupid little Klonoa oviposition pics or "lizards with gigantic feetpaws" or "lactating roo tails" or "latex cubs covered in pork and beans" or whatever the crap you're into.

And those pics are only stupid because you go into retarded hissyfits whenever somebody posts something EQUALLY WEIRD, but not your kink. Okay, I found the Ray Jones stuff kinda creepily oversincere myself. But fchan is full of stuff like that, and you know what? I'll bet if it had been about your own personal pet kink, you wouldn't have said a word. You wouldn't be screaming about your eyes, you'd have your greasy little hand down your pants.

If the art itself was worthwhile, there would probably be a lot less complaining.

What? O.o Dude, you make no sense.  I mean, I get that your angry because somebody complained about some art... but I'm not exactly sure what your point is.

Anyway, I'll give you some sage advice.

A: Let it go.  Whatever your problem is with this guy... it just isn't worth getting mad about.  Just skip past the comments you don't like, and carry on.

B: Get used to it.  It's the internet.  People will say things you don't like.  Nothing you say or do will ever change that.

C: Nothing is new.  That quote you quoted...
>"Do you HAVE to force your sick kink down OUR throats here?"
>Somebody actually said that, over there on the Ray Jones Gadget threads.
Nothing surprising about what he said... at all.  In fact, people usually say much more irritating stuff than that... which leads back to "A:"

Chill/Cheers

It wasn't the comment in itself he's complaining about, it's the blatant hypocrisy shown by the commenter that's drawn his ire; something >>1 and I share.

RTFP next time.

It's not that complicated. #5 didn't seem to have any trouble comprehending it. But I'll explain it for you anyhow:

People here on fchan gripe constantly about things that exceed their own personal boundaries of taste. I think that's very silly, when most of fchan consists of erotic art. Let's face it, most people come here explicitly to look at things that will offend SOMEONE.

I'm not the one who's in hysterics here. I'm just being a little caustic for the sake of sarcasm, and I'm sorry if you mistake that for flying off the handle. I'm reacting to people screaming OMG BAN HIS ASS for posting things they don't like, when they seem to be just fine with equally crappy art that pushes their own kink buttons. I think that's stupid. I think stupidity deserves to be harshly criticized.

As for your advice, um... why are you telling me to skip comments I don't like, when you could've just as easily skipped my rant if you didn't like it? You couldn't just let it go, yourself? Here's a little advice of my own: people won't listen to you if you're not consistent. ;)

I agree with you that the art wasn't very good, but... c'mon, you seriously mean to tell me that it's not good BY FCHAN STANDARDS? :D

I think it pushed people's creepy buttons. Heck, I see WHY it pushed people's creepy buttons. I found it creepy myself. But marginal art quality isn't grounds for removal, is it. People were screaming for the guy to be banned over some art that I didn't find any creepier than 90% of /ah/. I thought that was silly and deserved criticism.

Part B of your advice is really creepy. You don't think it's worth trying to discuss other people's opinions, even when you think those opinions are blatantly foolish? No discussion, no debate, everything's just INTERNETS and none of it matters. Wow, that attitude scares the hell out of me.

Blah blah, in your opinion you don't like his opinion. You're right, he's wrong, you're stupid, he's smart... yeah, I got all that.  I just don't think you're going to accomplish sweet fuck all by bitching about it.  What, do you think you're going to change his mind by making a caustic post in /dis/?  Your post is either preaching to the choir, and so, no point: or it's poking at people who agree with the other guy, and you aren't going to change their ways with your rant: or the people don't give a shit one way or another, and then, all you're doing is making noise.

In other words, by making a pointless rant here, you are being stupid, and by your own definition, deserve to be "harshly criticized".  If you don't like his comments, Get Over Yourself!  He probably doesn't like yours either.

Oh, and I didn't skip past your rant because I'm a no-life Chan board loser.  What's your excuse?

>>9

Not creepy, just realistic.  Basically, what you say may be true... if people actually discuss and debate.  But you can't debate or discuss something if you won't admit that the other side might be right, and that you might be wrong.  If you go in thinking the other guy's an idiot, then you aren't discussing, you're just jerkin your virtual gherkin.

Myself, I love jerkin my gherkin while lurkin, but punchy and his sidekick up there strike me as the types that fancy themselves as intellectual types.

Now you're just being a dipshit.  Not everyone who disagrees with you missed your point.  They just don't agree.  Get over it.

Translation of OP: "Oh noes, somebody said something kinda sorta mean I don't like on a furry chan imageboard! I'm so SHOCKED! and APPALLED! that this could happen, so let me make a tl;dr post whining about the fact!"

Also, believe it or not, not everyone views /a/ and /ah/. And some types of art that could be fine otherwise are forced into /ah/ because some folks would bitch about the fact that the females involved have smaller than DD-sized breasts, so those who just want to see these mild things are forced to go into /ah/ anyway, while avoiding the really hard stuff.

Oh, and because I want to say it before anyone else: In before threadstop.
