That depends. Do you mean tiny pixilated images, cans of lemon lime soda, or small fairy like nymphs?

the second one the small feries or better yet im talking about of the chars of the game "rivieira the promise land" i want to know if serene and rose are the only ones that could be considered furry or if Fia Lina and Cierra are considered furries as well. (because they are sprites).

They're less furry than most aliens - which generally aren't allowed here.

Typical aliens aren't allowed because they're not "furry" at all -- they may not be human, but they aren't based on any real animal.

Sprites (as in fairies) could be considered to be based on butterflies or other winged insects; that would make them just as furry as humans girls with birdlike wings or other features, which are acceptable.  (for example, note the threads dedicated to Breath of Fire 2's Nina, which pop up every so often)

So, the exact decision would be up to the mods and would really depend on the character in question, but I'd be of the opinion "yes."

so by that reasoning why are covenants allowed here? i suppose you could say the jackals are because theyre CALLED jackals...

I've never seen any source say that they're based on insects. Most  sprites and faeries that I've read about are plant-based - usually genderless and born from plants, and all that. I don't see how that'd make them "furry", any more than than elves or orcs or other standard fantasy races.

Aliens at least occasionally are based on animals. (...reminds me of an old PC game Nomad where it turned out that most alien races were actually uplifted animals...)

>>6 You mean the Halo Elites? I can't remember exactly, as I'm fairly sure the decision was made before I was a mod, but I believe their design was partly based off some RL creature. A lizard or an insect or something. Ask Raven or Xeno, they'd know. ;)

Its because they look like some generic reptile morphs. You could say any 'anthro' looks like an alien if you want it that way

Let's put it this way.

If it's not based on an animal, it's not furry. Angels are based on humans, not an animal.

Or you could say that humans are based on angels, based on ones beliefs.

The only "angels" iv seen here are furry angels, just morphs with wings who are made to look more "angelic"
But as for sprites, they are pritty much just tiny people with insect like wings and magic powers. Kind of like the Olsin twins. = Not furs

Wings don't make anything furry.
There have been plenty of creatures posted here that look like humans with the exception that they have wings, but most of those are from Japanese material (mostly console games), and are based on animals. Like Nina(s) of Breath of Fire series - looks kinda like an angel or something, but is actually half-bird. Some Ninas can even transform into full birds.
