DND THREAD AGAIN...

It has nothing to do with not agreeing with the rules. If an artist does not want his art on the net being distributed, then don't upload it on a website in the first place... The Net aint a safe haven if you wanna have something private. Also if you do want others to see it and not redistribute it.. Simply customize your own website so then no copying or picture saving is allowed. It's not that hard...

But I'm simply pointing out to the fact that I saw someone state this on FA and I had to agree. If an artist wishes to protect his or her art, don't post it and make a big scene about it...

Immaturity .. =/

Someone isn't listening. First of all, it's ridiculously easy to get around scripts on websites that stop people saving images, and there's always the print screen button. Honestly, since when did no-right-click Javascript ever stop people?

We have the DNP list so that artists who don't want their work to be posted here can have their wish. There's this little thing called "copyright", where the creator of a work has a legal right to decide if it's allowed to be copied or distributed. There's also this thing called "respecting the artist's wishes", which you probably haven't heard of.

That's it, end of story. We've had people drag this through the mud so many times, it's getting old and tired. Yes, we've heard just about every single anti-DNP argument that exists. No, we're still not changing it.

And please stop making new threads to continue this futile argument. Threadstops are there for a reason, and constantly bickering with the people who run the website isn't going to get you anywhere.

Fchan is not a democracy.
