I'm fed up with people talking about how a thread is either to gay or to straight...if you want only one type go to /f/ or /m/...seriously, stop complaining.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that you're bisexual.

Ah, well. I was halfway right. Where are you seeing people complaining about "too gay" or "too straight"? /toon/? /a/? I don't recall seeing people bitch and moan about too gay/straight...

It happens in /a/ a lot, from my experience. I don't really give a damn, though, unless someone decides to start a flamewar over it.

I've never really had a problem with people wanting more /m/ or /f/ stuff in threads. But it's usually how they ask that bothers me. Saying "Anyone have more /f/ stuff?" is cool. Saying "this needs more /m/" is irritating.

Ya, people even make whole new threads just to get one of the two. (say you make a two person thread, say vulpix and eevee, and if you get one of more than the other, someone will go make a complete new thread of the opposite character, spamming the boards. ^_^;;

>>7 Yeah. I'd appreciate it more of they'd say "prefer [gender] but [opposite gender] is okay" rather than making a [gender]-only thread and freaking out if somebody accidentally posts the opposite gender.

>>8 The gender-specific threads are fine because, hey, not everyone likes both genders. Me, I don't like male art, so it makes browsing this place take up that much less time in my day when I can easily just skip all the 'male only' threads, because I know nothing in it will interest me, whereas I can quickly find the female-only ones and not worry about seeing something I might not like (content aside).

I went DNP for this reason. People whined I did a straight pic (oh noes!) and posted in a male preferred (not male only) thread in /toon/. Was not the first time it happened. Apparently I 'prove' a character is gay, so I'm not allowed to draw otherwise.

As an an artist, you're allowed to draw anything. Don't worry about it.
