Furries on ethnicity

If furries were real, would they have ethnicity like humans do? Or would it simply be based on what the species was? Like how there's white and black and yellow for humans, would furries be care more about if they were a fox or a wolf or dragon?

Furries aren't real and won't ever be.

If furries are fictional metaphors for all types of human personalties and characteristics, then yes, that includes human ethnicities and social classes reflected by a diversity of species and "breeds".

Yeah. lol

If they were real, I'd be sad because I wouldn't be a furry and they wouldn't want anything to do with us 'humans' lol XD

However, I'd assume they'd have the human personalities and everything, seeing how that's how they've been made to be.
If they had 'animal ethics' then they wouldn't be furries would they?

>>5 More like you don't understand the many, many, MANY roadblocks, pitfalls and whatnot in the way of creating a 'real' anthro. By the time it's possable, you and your children will be dead and even then it's unlikely to happen as no matter what bad furry fanfic your reading, people are not gonna whip of gene-freaks just to sell them as sex toys or super solders.

So..who's full of wrong now? Let's not forget that our efforts at cloning don't last very long without said animal dieing of some horrid thing.

So full of shit, this game of win vs wrong.

We were talking about ethnicity. If furries had minds that could think like people and interacted in a culture that included a varied range of animal species as other people there'd naturally be an inclination for them to stick to their own kind and to recognize others as different. The dumber ones would let xenophobia affect their actions and the smarter ones would realize the influence of an obsolete instinct and overcome it.

>>1 Forget if furries were real. Many furries are "specist" right now! Please see the "favorite species" thread in this forum for more details.

>>3 If you not getting laid is the extent of your disappointment with racism, perhaps it's time to gain a broader perspective. :}

>>9 Sadly, I've never met a truly "colorblind" human. I know deep down that my reptilian brain sends impulses to the rest of my brain trying to keep me in the comfort zone. That doesn't mean that I don't ever get uncomfortable, and I'm mature enough to admit this about myself. The bottom line, as Avenue Q put it so musically, we're all a little bit racist.

There is nothing wrong with racism or for that matter preferring certain people over others. This is called natural instinct. For instance, natural instinct tells us who we want to sleep with so that we can continue good gene propagation. That's why we don't like people with faults in their body.

Now, racism is fine but racism that leads to blind hatred isn't. Not wanting to be friends with, have sex with or generally be around certain people is WAY DIFFERENT than just blindly hating a whole race of people. You don't have to hate someone or their race to prefer not to be around them.
