Ok, we're all moved to the new server now and things are looking good so far. Lost is only what was posted on the old server after the password leak, since quite frankly, we weren't able to get a stable enough connection to even get the backup on there or anything of importance down from it.

We're still working on getting everything back up to speed software-wise, so expect some hiccups or oddities, however, when you hit any, please post here. :)

i got scared when i couldnt get to fchan..i thought id have to find a new place..but nothing can replace fchan..haha

Hello there, I keep getting this error when trying to upload pics:

"Software error:
CGI.pm: Server closed socket during multipart read (client aborted?).

For help, please send mail to this site's webmaster, giving this error message and the time and date of the error."

I'm also wondering- what hardware is the server running on?  Come on, satisfy my nerd curiosity :)

I keep getting 403s randomly on nearly every picture I try.  Some will load fine the first time, some will load after five or size refreshes, some won't load for so long I just give up.  Thumbnails are only showing up randomly as well, and ad boxes are also giving me 403s occasionally.  This is in /ah/ if location's important.

Should be fixed now. :)

Hey there, Xeno. There's still some strangeness happenin' with the "Avians" thread in Female. It just wont seem to bump and's been stuck near the point of no return for too long, even though it's still healthy. Think you can help out with this?

Erm, the thread is at 200+ posts. Any thread over 200 posts becomes unbumpable. All's normal. ;)

I'm hoping to have it back by end of next week, real life takes precedence and i'll need to write a thumbnail generation script.

Here's a question for you - when are mods going to stop being tight-asses and allow hyper in /h/ or just delete /h/ altogether - there's nothing going on there without them anyway.

I have the same error.  Time and date = 2 minutes ago.

Forgot to mention that when I reload the pages that get 403, they mostly load, but don't finish loading.  Here's a screenshot

I just noticed that when I click on a post # or reply link, >>00000 doesn't automatically appear in the message field anymore

This is a generically related question to the server. at present we have multiple people in the same house who have the potential to be posting on the board. each has a separate computer.
will we show up as different posters (from the admin standpoint)
or as one poster?
everything seems to be working fine for me as far as loading and such goes.
