I've noticed that a lot of people seem to have a hate on for Strega, though I can't seem to figure out why. They never attack his(?) subject matter, only his skills, but there are lots of artists doing the same thing, at or below his level of quality. So why the hate?

What? No, no. There's like one person who doesn't like Strega on fchan because he posts his work on his site, on FA, and on fchan. This person goes to all three places and says he tired of seeing the same thing. However, i think that's good because people without FA accounts or those that don't know his site can see his work too.

Not really. Strega is pretty damn humble for a furry artist, from my experience, and I really don't take kindly to arrogant artists. I've seen him act in ways that could be viewed as such a few times, but looking deeper it was in response to situations it was warranted, such as overly-clingy fans and people acting like complete douchebags incessantly. (I've never seen Strega intentionally hurt anyone's feelings I didn't want to do the same to, even as an outside observer, and he actually shows far more restraint than I would most of the time.)
The hate, IMO, mostly seems to stem from Strega being prolific, but never pushing boundaries. I mean no offense to him by saying this, but I've noticed he generally doesn't stray far in his subject matter (his work is almost always a niche of sex-heavy stretchy-vore that is reasonably popular, but not exactly loved by all, so I can see how some get sick of seeing it all the time) and more importantly, his development as an artist seems to have plateaued at a level one shouldn't let their development stop at.
There's a lot about his art that bugs the heck out of me, honestly, though I have no problem with its existence, and don't feel the need to bash it, or commend others for doing so. I can see how some would, though.
