Traps who say they are traps but aren't

Does it annoy anyone else when someone says they are a trap but then they send a picture and it's so freaking obvious they are a guy that it's not even funny? A trap in it's very essence means you can barely(if at all) tell the difference in their gender. Are these people just delusional or what?

How is this furry? How is this interesting to anyone else AT ALL?

Because furries in the girly boi thread keep saying how they are traps and shit like that but they aren't. It was brought up so instead of being a dumbshit asshole and starting a discussion within that thread i'm moving the discussion here where it belongs.

Don't be an asshole.

If you provided the relevance at the start, no one would be confused.

Well this looks like the start of another 30+ post of arguments, since that seems to be the norm around here nowadays.

Better than a civilized discussion consisting of an awe-inspiring 3 posts. Arguments here typically turn into discussions then back to arguments. It's a yin yang thing but the arguments inspire people to have a real discussion. One of the biggest ever(post count) discussions all started because of arguing then it actually started to convey some really great points.

Conflict is much more interesting than everyone holding hands and circle jerking each other.

As a non-girly boy RL-wise, I hold a small bit of resentment toward those "girly boys" .. I personally can't stand how much attention they get in the fandom, and quite frankly makes me question a lot of furs' sexuality.  Do those who claim they're gay want MEN who LOOK LIKE MEN, or something dressed to look like a female?  Sure some of you say "Well that's just my thing, and its unfair for you to resent me" and that's good for you.. but when the MAJORITY of people I've run into want a 86-lb slender guy sporting a massive package.. ..I kinda begin to question things.  Its even my opinion that furs tend to think they can find those exaggerated features in the furry porn they fap to RL-wise and end up having unrealistic expectations.

And before the "HAA YOU"RE JEALOUS" stuff starts, no, I'm not fat as the vast majority of you may immediately retort.  My body-type is what you would call 'Classical' or 'Mesomorph' body-type.  I work out, I lift weights and do a lot of jogging 3-5 times a week and I eat healthy and hence, I have the 'wide shoulders, slim waist' look.  I'm not awkward and shy and I hang out quite often when work isn't in the way, and I've had relationships.  Yes, its true.  Having a career in the IT world, its important to keep these habits that go ignored.

Sorry if this seems flamebait, but this subject gets me a touch riled up.  Just my $0.02.  I welcome opinions from the other side of that isle.

Why resent them? There is like maybe 1% or less passable "girly boys" in the entire world. Why does it matter if someone finds only them to be attractive? The majority of people you've run into simply aren't gay, they aren't attracted to masculine qualities, get over it. There is plenty of gay guys who want GUYS.

Hell, i'm even more picky than the average guy so there is maybe .001% of boys who fit my criteria. Fact is i'll probably end up with a girl but if I find a boy who fits that criteria i'd consider them equally. I'm not going to accuse you of jealousy, instead...you are expecting bi-curious guys to like something they don't like. It's unreasonable.

Bi people tend to be very picky when it comes to their own gender and less so about the opposite gender. If someone wants to have unreasonable or unrealistic expectations it is their RIGHT. They have to spend precious time, effort and money on their potential lifelong mates, telling someone they have to "settle" is insulting.

spoilers: EXOTIC IS ATTRACTIVE mr. I am boring and normal.
Otherwise there wouldn't be a drive to (ironically) splatter those with specific exotic looks onto every mag.
Though androgynus worship varies, in some SE asian countries it's seen as a godly mark and not just simple fetishistic sexual attraction.

As >>9 said, I've run into quite a bit of "traps" in the fandom itself that are butt-ugly in some form or another, or simply don't make great "traps"  i.e., don't look great dressed effeminately.  Or in fewer cases, have very poor hygiene and walk around surrounded with an invisible half-sphere of funk that deflect even the hardiest flies.  Traps in the fandom are overrated, and most of the thin guys I know outside the fandom are pissed because they can't bulk up as easily as those with "non-exotic" bodies as mr >>10 says

Bisexual =/= gay. Why should they act like anything like gays, who like men who look like men, when they're... well... not?

Go ahead and vent! I think you're making a good point.
