Are there any large adult furry websites where you can create an account and then post art to?

I allready know of yiffstar.com and furaffinity.net

You mean a community-oriented site and not an imageboard?  The only others I know of are FAP (now defunct) and VLC (heading that way).

There are a ton of furry imageboards out there. Aside from FA I usually find most of the stuff I like from them.

How is VCL becoming defunct?

Mostly by large numbers of artists abandoning it for FA.  I have a huge folder of bookmarks to artist pages on VCL which are now rarely or never updated because they've gone to FA.

I wouldn't say VCL will become defunct, but it _is_ heading that way.  However, if/when FA dies for real I imagine it will return to popularity.

VCL has way too many arbitrary limits and it's not worth using when compared with FA feature for feature which saves me a ton of time and ensure I get highest quality art possible. VCL has a file size limit and that has ALWAYS been hated by artists who don't like seeing artifacts in their work.

VCL is simply pointless.

If FA had a search feature, then it would be perfect.

Comparing feature-for-feature, of course bloated DA clones will win over sleek, purpose-oriented galleries (provided "has the 'feature'" always wins over "doesn't have the 'feature'"). You're not supposed to compare VCL to FA feature-for-feature.

The most important feature VCL has, in my opinion as an artist, which FA will never have, is accessibility. I absolutely loathe the stupid "you can't look at this unless you get an account" pages that keep popping up whenever people post links to FA, DA, FAP (when it still worked) etc.

I've never had a problem with artifacts in my work when posting to VCL. It may not be the quality of the original PNGs or TIFFs, but if it's not in my face I'll rather have that than any of the alternatives I've seen.

Until FA gets back it's search, finding specific images is still much easier in VCL.

I still have no clear answer...

Frankly, I find VCL easier to manage, because of it's folder structure, however file management is not exactly user friendly, and you don't get comments like you do in FA. I'd suggest using both actually: use VCL for archiving/image organization, FA for generic posts and getting comments.
