Let's a huddle around the fireplace for a moment of candid honesty with the resident raptor, shall we? Maybe grab some cocoa, a little Bailey's...
I might come across as eloquent but trust me, it's not always easy. The deleted post before mine was written by me and wasn't so well thought-out. The line 'Do you really need to cause more drama...' is hard to read without feeling as though it were an accusation.
It's a rare occasion when Nadia posts these days, but her word is the one that carries the most weight. She might not have established Fchan, but she established the Fchan we know today.
I try my best to communicate with people and answer their questions. Sometimes it feels I do more harm than good by doing it. Every poster is an individual: some have legitimate queries, others try to goad us into arguing because they like the sound of their own voice. It takes a lot of experience and a good sense of politics to be an effective moderator. I've been trying to learn on the fly, so please bare with me.
There are only a few more points I'd like to make. The discussion of cub is banned. Period. There has been enough drama over this one subject to meet the quota for the next decade. Nobody complains to the city because they can't smoke in restaurants anymore. Nobody complains to YouTube because they can't post hardcore porn on the site. It's simple accepted as the way it is. This is the way it is here.
As for calling those who are equally tired of seeing this thread stay way off-topic 'brown-nosers', keep this in mind. It's kind of hard to gain anyone's favour by making an unsigned post.
Now let's all take a deep breath, think before we write (I know.. but I deleted it) and try to get along. This is one of the few places where a person can say 'sexy dragon cock' and not draw a bunch of disgusted, confused stares. I like to think of this place as a community. The less quarreling amongst ourselves, the better it is for everyone.
Once again, thank you if you took the time to read this. This place might make a bird want to pull his feathers out at times, but I wouldn't give it up for anything.
