I remember a long time ago, I saw a Superman comic done in the style of, if I remember correctly, inked lineart with no shadin' or color.

The story was that he encountered a planet of dog morphs that was once a prosperous society but their society was destroyed when one of the planet's suns (or was it one sun?) inexplicably grew hotter, turning th' whole planet into a desert world.

A world that was plagued by severe earthquakes and just to survive, the dog morphs had to fight carniverous plants to get their "nectar" (water) just to survive.

Superman helped the dog morphs by, among other things, sealin' the planet's tetonic plates with his laser eyes an' usin' his super vision to detect water in the planet's atmosphere to stor up a storm, after which one of the dog morphs said "Look!  The nectar!  It falls from the sky!"

Anyone know the name of the comic an' the issue number?  I wanna get my paws on a copy because it's the furst time I remember really likin' the idea of anthro animals!

Yeah, that totally makes it furry related! Just like not using -ing makes you super cool.

She didn't actually die, since her brain was stored elsewhere. For the rest of that book she ran around a metal cap on her head and some nifty shades.
